We use a selection of the most effective training kit around including; kettlebells, bodyweight work, resistance bands, suspension training systems, ropes, pad work and some other toys thrown in for good measure. What you won't see are ineffective bulky resistance machines and long boring cardio workouts. All the training tools we use are hand picked because they provide a far more effective and functional approach to fitness training, allowing you to work your body as an integrated single unit not as a collection of body parts as most gym equipment will have you do.
Yes. No matter what your sex, age or fitness level everyone will benefit from working with a Personal Trainer.
Yes, however you would need to do more exercise in addition to seeing your Personal Trainer. One session a week without doing any extra work yourself would be a very slow way to reach your fitness goals, if possible at all, but your trainer will make sure you do the most time efficient and effective workouts by yourself. If you want big results then you have to put in the hard work.
If you are male then yes the testosterone in your body along with the correct weight lifting regime will normally cause you to grow muscle but only if you eat correctly. Putting on muscle is a lot harder than dropping body fat.
For women however this is not true as females on average have only 10% of the testosterone levels a man has. The female body will get a strong and toned but not the bulky masculine appearance that makes weight lifting seem off putting for some. This does depend on body type as some women are naturally larger framed but here it is just a case of lifting the weights in a different way to get the desired lean looking muscle tone.
The only guarantee you have is the amount of commitment you give yourself. You should look on your Personal Trainer as a tool shop and you as the builder. The Personal Trainer sells you the tools and then it's up to you to do the job. How much time you put into the job the better the job will look. Having said that we believe that we are such good educators and motivators that you are guaranteed to get results hence the fact that we will give you your money back if you disagree, what could be simpler.
This is a regular situation with people who are only interested in excuses why not to train. The majority of the above people have very minor problems but through lack of physical education think that the above is true. Get yourself to a Physiotherapist, have the problems assessed and start your road to rectifying them.
